Join In The Support For World Refugee Day
In today’s world, it’s hard to believe that people are still forced to leave their homes and countries due to conflict and violence.
We are constantly reminded of this terrible ordeal that over 10 million men, women and children are faced with today.
However, a global awareness campaign is set to bring this problem to the foreground. MEC Global Solutions have combined forces with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help tackle this problem once and for all.
This is a tremendous effort in my view, and one that will undoubtedly bring about many changes to the situation, as well as provide much needed support for those unfortunate enough to be seeking asylum.
As human beings, we all should have the right to live our lives peacefully. What are your views on the subject? Do you feel resentment to those responsible?
World Refugee Day UNHCR takes place on June 20th and both twitter and facebook users are urged to create mass awareness on that day in order to further highlight the issue.
